The furniture in our house was purchased about eight years ago when we first moved in. We took a lot of time to decide what we liked and bought everything basically all at once. I am still very happy with our choices, but every once in a while I get the urge to completely change the 'feel' of our home. The urge has not turned into reality though and I am pretty sure it's because of the cost. We have a good-size house and to replace the furniture would be pricey!
Someone mentioned that if we were to reupholster furniture throughout the house, it could be more cost-effective and less time consuming than furniture shopping all over again. What do you think? Have you tried reupholstering anything in your home?
